One of my favorite places to eat. Food is always great, service is good. Two of my favorites here is the chicken and waffles and the fried pickles. Both are very large portions for the price. There are only two negatives. One is the restaurant is small so the wait times can be long. Guess that tells you it’s worth the wait. Not a bad this I guess. The second thing, every time we visit, they offer daily drink specials, and every time they are either out or only enough for a couple drinks?? I had the same experience yesterday at 6pm!! Downtown Wilmington is know for its night life. Come on guys! Prepare for the day! I had to take one star due to the drinks running out every time I have visited the past few times. All in all, I wouldn’t let that stop me from going back. And next time, I will talk to the manager or owner if possible. As you can see, the food looks just as good as it tastes!
What a great little bar/restaurant!!! We stopped in on a Saturday and caught their brunch. It was incredible. My wife had the classic breakfast and I had the corned beef breakfast with eggs, sunny side up over hash browns. Both were generous portions and delicious. The Bloody Mary helped top things off. The wait staff and kitchen help were joking and laughing the whole time which made for a fun and pleasant experience. Great food! Great service!
LESLIE IS THE BEST!! She's so sweet and I connected with her so well. She knew what to make me after I told her and it was so dang good. I can't wait to come back 🤩
Pub and restaurant. I recently stayed in Jacksonville and decided to make a day trip to Wilmington. The location had both a downtown & night life vibe and the food was ridiculously amazing! The burgers were unique options and felt like they were almost the size of my face. lol. If you like local spots, fresh food, intimate atmosphere, and proactive & patient wait staff... this place is a WINNER!
We came here on Christmas Eve for a late lunch. The place was packed so we grabbed a few beers and sat outside until a table was open inside. We had the Monte Cristo and an Hay Dios Mios burger, both with fries. We loved the atmosphere; it was not too loud, but definitely lively.
I give this stop a 5 out of 5. I haven't had this kind of service and hospitality from a place in a long time. The bar tender, Katie, was sweet and made fantastic drinks and the cooks were on point with their cooking! If you are in the area I HIGHLY recommend this spot for some grub!
We enjoyed our evening @ The Fork ‘N’Cork .. The food was delicious & the Service was also .. Did not get the name of the hostess- but she was sure on top of her game … very friendly, helpful to her team mates- bussing tables - on this Friday night… it started to get busy .. get there early.. it was so hot out… hard to sit outside.. and the hostess was very accommodating.. our server .. was Bailey .. also … really on top of it ! She gave us great service.. very attentive… the food was great- and very reasonably priced! Will be back sooner than later !
This is a cool place with a lot of potential! My family and I have popped in for a late lunch. Tried to order them from the brunch menu, but a lot of items were sold out which is a good sign! That tells me that they typically make fresh and seasonal items. My wife ordered the hot mess burger. I ordered the music city chicken sandwich. And my kids share chicken tenders and fries. We also had duck wings as an appetizer! So I wasn’t wild about the duck wings, but I’m not holding that against them. It was my first time ever having them so I don’t really have anything to judge them with. Onion rings, french fries, and macaroni and cheese for our sides all phenomenal mac & cheese was probably a 10 out of 10! Portions generally are huge and generous! What I wasn’t wild about it was the service it’s a small place and we just felt very unattended. Had to wait for refills. Also seen waitresses on their phone the entire time. I would definitely come back and update this review after I have brunch!
